This is a picture of a beautiful view. I love being out side enjoying the nature. The fresh air and the flowers remains me of my home country. I used to wake up early in the morning for school and see the sunrise. This photo remains me a lot of my childhood.

Going to the Met museum was a fantastic trip. I learned a lot of the Ancient Egypt. I saw the painting and thanks to the professor I could get the history of meaning of the object.
This object is a stone jar. They usually put liquids inside it and evaporate it. Also it serves as luxury. This is valuable because making stone vessels takes more time than making ceramic jars. The Egyptians saw the luxury these have and start to invert more making these. Naqada III- Dynasty 1 (ca. 3300-2900 b.c. (Met museum)
Reaction to one of the artist videos
John Currin:
I liked him because he likes pairing. He likes religion painting and analysed them because he sees the background. He says that the violent scars that the boy has in the painting which he refers to Jesus. He also says that there are certain characteristics that the painting has that is not as real as we can tell. He even analysed the skin color. Finally he says that art changes the language. He also says that painting is an art because the painting says something. I liked what he said because it is true. Painting is an art and a language. It can says a lot using no words.
