Going to the Met museum was a fantastic trip. I learned a lot of the Ancient Egypt. I saw the painting and thanks to the professor I could get the history of meaning of the object.
This object is a stone jar. They usually put liquids inside it and evaporate it. Also it serves as luxury. This is valuable because making stone vessels takes more time than making ceramic jars. The Egyptians saw the luxury these have and start to invert more making these. Naqada III- Dynasty 1 (ca. 3300-2900 b.c. (Met museum)
